WHAT DO YOU DO ?
The Music Broker Network pitches unsigned bands & artists to Record Companies, Music Publishers and Film/TV studios. We take care of everything from researching Opportunities & advising on demo's, to burning & then posting each custom CD to your choice of executives. Musicians normally have to give away upto 50% of their income to get hands-on promotion like this but we just charge a small fee.

SO YOU'D BE MY AGENT AND YOU'D SPLIT THE INCOME WITH ME ?
No. We are not an agent. We don't ask you to sign an agreement. We don't take any share of your income or your copyright and we don't put your songs on our website, telling you that A&R people spend their days randomly surfing websites !! We promote you, one-on-one, to whichever Opportunities you are interested in and charge a flat-fee of $5 per song.

DO YOU WORK WITH ANYONE ?
No - it's members-only. We only represent people whom we believe have a chance of being successful: we put our reputation on the line every time we pitch a new member to our contacts, so if you're not good enough to be represented, we'll let you know and won't charge you a penny. Our roster include artists such as award-winners Fidgital (Canada), Jenna Drey (U.S) and Katie Michaelson (Australia) plus a number of studio-based songwriters & composers. Please note, that we can only work with those people who write their own material: we cannot work with cover versions or singers seeking projects/auditions.

HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER ?
Membership is by "audition" only - in other words, we need to hear your music as an MP3 or audio CD.

HOW MUCH WILL THIS COST ME ?
It depends how many songs you'd like to pitch over the next 12 months. If you are just starting out or have only a couple of tracks, then we recommend Bronze at $95 for a year. If you have upto 6 tracks and are looking for a record or publishing deal, then Silver would be best, at $175 for a year. If you are a songwriter or have an album's worth of music then you should choose Gold at $345 for a year.

DO YOU WORK WITH MY KIND OF MUSIC ?
We work with most genres of music. There is a list to the left of the screen, so you can see how many different Opportunities we have for any genre. Bear in mind, these are current Opportunities so those past Opportunities that have now closed are not available for viewing.

HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM OTHER COMPANIES WHO HELP MUSICIANS & SONGWRITERS ?
a) we are selective about who we represent - most will accept anyone, as long as they can pay
b) we have a very good success rate: almost 1 in 4 of our members receive a deal offer within the first 6 months of their membership
c) we take care of the extra work like burning each custom CD, printing a biography, etc.
d) we represent signed artists as well as unsigned artists: this helps increase our credibility within the industry

The Music Broker Network is part of The Broker Organisation Ltd. founded by Richard Jay. Richard has had a 10+ year career as a songwriter/composer and producer, with the likes of Warner/Chappell and Universal Records.
